I was really surprised when I found out just how many wedding supplies I needed for my ceremony and reception. I’m glad I listened to the girls at work, when they told me I better start my wedding shopping right away. I was more concerned with the dresses, tuxedos and wedding party attire, I never realized that would be the easy part. There was a lot more to do than I thought there was. At the top of my to do list was the invitations to our country western themed wedding and reception. I started shopping for my wedding cake supplies, crossing them off the list as I go. First off, I needed to find the right decorations for our country themed reception. I decided to take a friends advice and see what there was to offer online before I started going from store to store. I was amazed at what a big selection they had to offer
There were a lot of decorations for all sorts of themed weddings as well as my country themed accessories, right there online. Our tables looked so fantastic with the cute little place card holders I picked out. What better place card holders to have at a wedding reception cookout than little barbecue grills?
For our centerpieces I took metal campfire cups and filled them with wildflowers and placed western garland around them. I found exceptional wedding favor supplies, including the perfect western themed wedding favors for all of our guests. They also had cowboy hats for the bride and groom that I decided to buy. I ordered the lovely western champagne flutes for the wedding toast that they had, too. I also had them hang white christmas lights all around the reception area and scatter a few old western type lanterns here and there. On our wedding table sat our elaborate wedding cake and atop that cake was a western themed wedding topper that really set the mood for the evening. Anyone could have a great western wedding using all the selections of accessories and reception table décor they have. There was tiny cowboy hats for the tables, a gorgeous cake serving set, a wedding guest book and pen set, and a western style wedding album, which I dearly loved. It was so easy to get everything I needed for wedding and reception accessories when it was right there on my computer.
Some of the reception stuff I did find at stores, like barbecue grills, hay bales and a few other things I needed. Well, I didn’t really get those things, the credit goes to my fiance and his friend, they took care of those items. They took care of making a fantastic dance floor for the reception too. Along with the super cool floor to dance on and a country band that sounded great, we had all kinds of fantastic food to eat. There was all kinds of meat for barbecuing, like chicken, steaks, ribs and more, plus lots of different salads too. We all had a lot of fun.
I got a lot of compliments on our western décor idea, from some of our guests. I’m so glad I went online searching for wedding accessories and decoration ideas. The convenience of sitting at home and shopping, then ordering my choices,and just waiting for delivery was the best part of all. I had no time to go from store to store looking for all the accessories I needed, this way was so much better. What was really a big help was the fact that I was able to find a lot of discount wedding supplies from their great selection.
