It may be true that most married women believe that the most important thing in their lives is their marriage though it is also true that many of them engage themselves in married women affairs. The more conservative among the married woman segment will no doubt express indignation that others like them engage in extramarital affairs and will condemn such women for being immoral and irresponsible.
However, once a marriage has lasted for many long years these same married women may find themselves succumbing to temptation and so will become one more statistic involving married women affairs. There are several reasons why such instances occur including emotional burnout and a rift between the woman and her spouse.
The worst thing about having an affair is that it will only leave you feeling pain, anger and guilty. This means that it pays to think before you leap because one misstep can lead to severe consequences including divorce. The main reason for such acts is that the young generation of today thrives on temporary feelings and for them being permanently or forever in love is unthinkable.
In these modern times, young people place more value on selfishness and instant gratification and are prepared to get what they want at any cost. Furthermore, when married women are under great stress they seek escapist routes that often makes them have an affair. Having an affair seems to be a way by which married women can escape responsibilities and realities. It allows them to live in a fantasy world that is only temporary.
Married women justify the reasons for being unfaithful by saying that they have been neglected by their husbands who don't pay enough attention to them. Furthermore, they loathe it when their husbands take them for granted and so escape by indulging in behavior that involves having thrills.
