Exquisite Wedding Favor Heart!

Sunday, June 14th, 2009

What could be more romantic than a wedding held in the month of Februrary? It seemed like a great idea me, so I opted to have my wedding day decorated with the emblem of love all over our wedding ceremony and reception. The first thing I bought was a gorgeous bridal tiara that I picked out over the Internet. There were many wonderful decorations and supplies to choose from, such as the invitations I bought. The cards we used as wedding invitations had a pair of hearts on the front of them, both silver. The inside was very pretty to look at, and it had everything printed out in there already when we received them, so all we had to do was write in the place and time and we were all set.
But that was only the beginning, after I mailed out the invitations I had to start planning the décor and ordering the supplies I would need. I selected a red velvet set of ribbons and bows that I would put on the end of and string between the church pews. The altar was beautifully decorated, with wonderful candle holders and candles, including our unity candle which was adorned with a heart made of red roses. We used red roses all over the wedding ceremony, like in my bouquet, where they were mixed with pink roses, and throughout the church. We had doves let out of cages as my groom and I departed from the church building, and it was one extra touch that I thought was just majestic.
The wedding apparel that would be worn by those who were going to be in the wedding had already been selected. The basket for the flower girl was going to be adorned with white satin, with lace and bows on each side. The rings also had a white satin ribbon on them, with a white pillow that had a gold double hearts wedding insignia on it for our ring bearer. My flower girl was going to wear a small tiara, and it was very similar in appearance to the one I had picked out for myself. She wore a pretty pink dress, made for a flower girl, and she did such a wonderful job as a flower girl and looked so brilliant that I thought she did look like royalty. With his tiny tuxedo and red boutonniere, the ring bearer boy did as good of a job and he looked just as adorable. He carried the ring pillow like a pro and kept in step with the rest of the wedding party. I was very glad that I chose to include both of them.
Our hearts wedding was perfect and the ceremony was gorgeous with all the lovely flowers and decorations for a romantic setting. Weddings are romantic anyway, but ours was very special. Even our guests commented on the décor and my lovely bridal accessories, including our heart designed wedding guestbook that came in one of the fantastic wedding collection sets they had online. I was so glad everyone liked the crystal heart favors I selected. My sister said she was going to put her heart favor right on her bedroom dressing table, because it was so beautiful. I’m also glad I did my wedding shopping online. I don’t think I could have done any better in the bridal shops than I did on my computer.

Everything at our wedding and reception was the perfect picture of a true valentines day wedding with all the hearts and flowers imaginable. I’m just glad I had the internet to turn to, it made everything so much easier.

Exquisite Wedding Favor Heart!

A  hearts wedding in the month of February, the month of love, what a fabulous idea.  To have our ceremony and reception covered in hearts and flowers and other romantic accessories and decor. Maybe I could even have a few little cupids scattered around the reception hall. There were many wonderful decorations and supplies to choose from, such as the heart wedding favors I bought.  I wanted to choose a heart favor that everyone would appreciate and that could be a symbol of our love for each other. I also ordered invitations with two silver hearts on the cover and the inside was preprinted so all I had to do was put in the when and where.                When the invitations were completed, I had to go forward with putting together the exact products that I would use. On each of the pews I had big red velvet bows with ribbon strung from one pew to the next.
As a flower girl basket, I decided to go with a gorgeous white satin with lovely lace and satin bows on each side. For the ring boy to carry down the aisle I ordered a gorgeous white double hearts wedding pillow with the two gold hearts entwined, and a white satin ribbon for the rings. I had a mini tiara for the flower girl to wear in her hair that looked very much like the one I ordered for myself. She did look like a little princess in her lovely little pink flower girl dress, and she did such a super job in the ceremony. With his tiny tuxedo and red boutonniere, the ring bearer boy did as good of a job and he looked just as adorable. When he walked, he didn’t get out of sync with everyone else, and he bore the rings in distinguished fashion. I was so proud of both of them.
The centerpieces we had made up for the reception dinner had tiny hearts intermixed with roses that were white, pink, and red. On each of the reception tables were little two hearts wedding candles to set the romantic mood of the theme I had chosen, and at each setting was their lovely thank you gifts. I ordered beautiful little silver bells with a heart shaped handle that make a very lovely keepsake from our wedding day for each of our guests. Every layer of our wedding cake was adorned with small red and pink roses, and the bottom section had tiny hearts running all the way around it. Our hearts wedding cake had a white porcelain topper on it that complimented the rest of our cake décor beautifully.
The hearts and flowers that saturated our wedding made it the very definition of what a love-filled, Valentine’s Day wedding should be. I’m just glad I had the internet to turn to, it made everything so much easier.

The hearts wedding favors!

Saturday, May 16th, 2009

The couple picked out a heart wedding for their choice of décor, and what they did with it was spectacular. From the invitations to the wedding favors everything had cute little hearts on it. The RSVP info was printed on the attractive heart favors, which each had a pair silver hearts on their covers. With the silver on them, they were rather striking. Even their unity candle for the ceremony had two little hearts hanging in front, and there were gorgeous candle holders for the unity candle and the tapered candles as well. The flowers and candles added an exquisite touch to the altar. They even had hearts hung on the end of each pew with the tulle draping from row to row. I’m sure that the hearts were related to the wedding day falling on Valentine’s Day. It was an incredible wedding, highlighted by a bride that was so lovely, she could have been an angel.
The décor of the reception included a plethora of hearts and flowers. The silver hearts wedding theme carried over to the place cards holders at the reception tables, and they complimented the red and white rose centerpieces beautifully. The tables all looked elegant with the sparkling champagne flutes and the lovely wine glasses. She did an awesome job of designing the place settings at the reception. The champagne flutes were long stemmed crystal and the wine glasses were personalized with the names of the bride and groom and the date of their wedding. The champagne glasses on bride and groom table were really something special. It was very much like the silver hearts wedding invitation they sent out; it was a silver double hearts wedding champagne glass for each of them.
The hearts wedding cake they had made had five layers and it was delicious. The cake was a dream for both the eyes and the stomach. They had a personalized wedding cake topper that was a spitting image of the two of them; come to think of it, this may have been the only item in the whole wedding that wasn’t a heart. They were really very unique, I’ve never seen a wedding cake topper quite like this one. She said she bought it at a wedding website where she got all of her accessories and reception supplies. She took some pictures of her groom and herself, and from that, they put together a cake topper that could have been their twins. I’m sure they’ll treasure that forever.
We had a  silver hearts wedding, in fact they gave us two thank you gifts. First there was a lovely votive candle holder and also coffee favors decorated in a groom package for the men and a bride package for the ladies, with little heart shaped coffee scoops. It struck me as a neat pair of gifts to give everyone. Really, there was no shortage of awesome thoughts for the wedding. The whole hearts genre matched Valentine’s Day, but I was still surprised at how many supplies and wedding items she found to fit that theme. I really thought the wedding cake topper was the most awesome of all. That’s a great idea for a birthday or any other happy celebration. She offered to show me where she got everything, and she said that they have something for every occasion. Well, anyway, the wedding ceremony and the reception were a definite success and everyone had a wonderful time. The week they’re spending in Mexico is going even better for them than the wedding did, I’m sure. I can’t wait until they return and I can see all the pictures she took, listen to all the stories of the fabulous places they saw and things they did. The pictures she showed me on the brochures were fantastic.
